I’m Back & Expounding On The Love Of God

Through circumstances beyond my control, and too complicated to try to explain, I was forced to take a prolonged leave of absence. God made known to me that He wanted me to expound on the love that He has for all of humanity upon.

God reveals in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith it is impossible to please God & Galatians 5:6 reveals that faith works by love. This is not just faith in God’s love for His people corporately that springboards us into the miraculous, but it’s faith in God’s for us individually. Say this with me, “God loves me!”

The love that God has for me burned in His heart even before I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior and through the new birth became a son of God. Romans 5:8 proclaims that God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us, and in John 17:23 Jesus prayed that Father-God would show the world that He loves us as much as He loves Jesus. I know that is going to rattle a lot of theological cages, but this was clearly the prayer of Jesus for His church, and Jesus always gets His prayer answered.

The truth be known, no one, not even the atheist, doubts God’s ability. The atheist would say, “I don’t believe in God, but if He exists there is nothing too difficult for Him. Most Christians have the following attitude when they pray. “I now God is big enough to answer my prayer, but I don’t know if He is willing to answer my prayer!”

Hypnotically let’s say my son come to me with a need. If he says, “Dad, I have a problem. I don’t know if you can help me or not, but if you can I know you will,” he is questioning my ability to help him, not my willingness.

If on the other hand he says, “Dad, I have a problem, and I know you can help me, but I’m not sure you will,” he is not doubting my ability to help, he is doubting my desire to help. And in doubting my desire to help he is doubting my love for him.

In John 16:26 & 27 Jesus destroys this damning lie of the devil with these words, “In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; for the Father Himself loves you!”

Never doubt God’s love for you again. THE FATHER HIMSELF LOVES YOU & HE LOVES YOU AS MUCH AS HE LOVES JESUS!!!
